Uhhh..speaking of getting out of my comfort zone. If you follow me on Instagram you know I never post a selfie and if I do show myself, it’s mostly the back of my very hairy head. The reason behind it is simple: I want to be known for my work and not my face. I just don’t like the thought of being reduced to looks. And let’s be honest, that’s how most bloggers make their money, not their content. Which is fine, I respect that, it simply just doesn’t work for me.
Nevertheless, I made the decision to be a bit more open and tell (and show) you about myself because we all need a bit of realness sometimes. So here I am, in all my silly glory haha! 😀

Yeah so a bit about myself: I was born and raised in Landshut, Bavaria (Germany) but as my Dad is from Manchester (UK) my heart is bilingual. I studied Communication, Media Knowledge in Linz (Austria), lived in London for a few months before I went out to study in Dublin, Ireland. After finishing my Master’s degree in Journalism, I decided to move back to Austria last Spring. So here we are now 🙂
Even though I’m a chatter box in real life, I don’t really want to talk about myself so I’m just gonna tell you what I love and hate and you can make up your own opinion about me 😛
LOVE:
- The smell of old books
- Her majesty, Queen Elizabeth ❤
- Equality
- Being proven wrong
- Absolute Girl-power and any form of empowerment
- Quattro Formaggi Pizza on a hangover Sunday (and Mo-Sat)
- Sixties and Seventies furniture
- My cat Louis (very arrogant but extremely cute looking)
- Melancholic poems
HATE:
- The smell of rain
- Being proven wrong
- Injustice
- The feeling after you finished Mad Men
- Pedestrians (when I’m riding my bike)
- Bikes (when I’m a pedestrian)
So in the future I guess you have to deal with my face more often, or at least I try to not be as private as I used to be ❤
