Ireland. The little green island has a lot more to offer than just Guinness, leprechauns and well lets face it, a lot of rain. Despite being one of the most expensive cities in Europe (the price of booze and cigarettes will ruin you forever), you can save some money by buying all things vintage.
Five Crows, Tola Vintage, Harlequin…just to name a few. Besides the popular Temple Bar area there are a lot of spots where you can find some hidden vintage bargains. I put together a list of my favourite vintage shops in Dublin:
TOLA VINTAGE

If you’re looking for some re-worked vintage or and mostly stuff from the 80s, 90s or early 2000s, Tola is the place to be! Next to their resident Temple Bar store, they also offer some special vintage kilo sales every now and then, where you can grab their stock for only €20 a kilo!
10 Fownes St Upper, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

THE VINTAGE SHOP IN GEORGE’S ARCARDE

Tiny place but full of vintage treasures. Especially jumpers, flannels and colourful zip ups from the 80s and 90s, can be found in the shop located in the George’s Street Arcade. They do 3 for €10 on all scarves or you can simply pop in on Wednesdays between 4.30 – 6.00 where they do a massive 30% off their marked prices.
While you’re already on George’s Street, don’t forget to check out the charity shops which are just across the street from the Arcade and also offer some great vintage sections!

NINE CROWS
Definitely one of the more pricey vintage shops in Dublin. Nevertheless, they offer a pretty good collection of the 80s and 90s era with band shirts, leather bags or chokers adding to the grunge look. They also have their own re-worked vintage line, which includes halter tops or lovely two pieces! While you’re shopping at Nine Crows, you can even get your nails done by Jenny Wong. Plus, check out the Nine crows instagram for daily outfit inspirations.

But let’s finish with my absolute favourite spot:
THE DUBLIN VINTAGE FACTORY

I LOVE this place. With €20 a kilo it’s an absolute steal! With new boxes arriving every week, the shop is always stocked with jumpers, leather jackets or lovely dresses from every fashion are. The staff is pretty laid back and located in Smithfield, its ideal to get away from the crowded touristy areas. While you’re already in the area, pop into Oscar’s next door for one of them delicious cheese sandwiches.
